About Us

Salamander Technologies - an innovative approach to risk management across the environmental sector - from CSG unconventional mining to urban water distribution systems, fugitive emissions as well as remediated land.

The focus has widened as an evolution from commercialising continuous environmental monitoring hardware; to assisting our clients who seek to leverage their data.

Combining our unique blend of financial, risk management and environmental science experience, Salamander Technologies has developed Tellus Risk™ software.

Coherent collection and presentation of complex "big data" sets will avoid the increasing commercial trap presented by data graveyards.

Our clients benefit from our patented hardware, continuous monitoring regimes, real time access and cutting edge risk algorithms. Enabling optimal asset management.

Our Approach

Our approach is to empower our clients' data.

The use of permanent continuous real-time environmental monitoring hardware is now globally recognized.

Our core capabilities reside in the interrogation and extraction of commercial value  from continuous environmental data sets.

Our aim is to provide Senior Management, regulators and Investors with the means to dynamically analyse and report on their own data, with our Tellus Risk™ software

Generate

Continuous environmental data sets - operational parameters include :- chlorine, methane, GHG's, turbidity and total VOCs.

Leveraging the Salamander Group suite of stand-alone continuous monitors - GasClam®, ChloroClam® and HydraClam®.
Our risk management is intended to be probe agnostic; the focus on extracting the value inherent in continuous real time data sets.

Collect

Implement a timely collection of continuous data sets which facilitate greater transparency and commercial understanding of complex environmental systems.

Salamander Technologies collaborate with our clients to provide risk analysis of the respective site's performance and behaviour.

Interpret

Characterising data to extract the commercial and regulatory value of clients' environmental data sets.

Salamander Technologies builds on the recognised scientific ideal of historic base line data by the provision of tools that mirror our approach to real time information. Immediate cost benefits in terms of operational efficiencies and competitive advantage are readily identified.

Predict

Predicting behaviour and potential risk accelerates our clients' competitive edge.

Our unique approach to intelligent data analysis promotes curiosity and enhances commercial advantage.
The introduction of external impact scenarios to this risk management approach compounds the benefits.
